## Description

Angair (Anglesea, Aireys Inlet Society for the Preservation of Flora and Fauna) is a dedicated environmental organization established in 1969, passionate about safeguarding the indigenous flora and fauna of Anglesea and Aireys Inlet. The society invites individuals who are interested in protecting the natural beauty of these regions to join and engage with a variety of activities and educational initiatives. Members benefit from guided walks, plant propagation, and bird walks, as well as annual events like the Wildflower and Art Weekend.

Angair also conducts essential flora and fauna surveys and environmental projects aimed at preserving conservation reserves. The organization provides resources through a knowledge bank, including factsheets and wildlife listings, to educate the community on local biodiversity. Additionally, Angair collaborates with various friends' groups to promote conservation efforts. Visitors can explore further through multimedia resources on the Angair Nature Show website, enhancing awareness of local environmental challenges and the importance of sustainable practices for future generations.
