## Description

Angeli is the virtual gallery of Brazilian cartoonist Arnaldo Angeli Filho, presenting his work across cartoons, political caricatures, comic strips, characters, and sketchbooks. The gallery offers Giclée prints and invites visitors to contact the studio about special orders, although no products are currently listed for purchase.

Born in São Paulo in 1956, Angeli published his first drawing at age 14 and began contributing to Folha de S.Paulo in 1973. There, he created the daily strip Chiclete com Banana and introduced characters including Rê Bordosa, Bob Cuspe, Wood & Stock, and the Skrotinhos. Chiclete com Banana became an influential independent comic magazine in 1985. Angeli has authored books, exhibited work through international comic festivals, and appeared in publications in Italy, Spain, Argentina, and Portugal. For more than 40 years, he worked as a political cartoonist for Folha de S.Paulo and UOL, and also created animated comics for the internet and Cartoon Network. The site features themed collections, studio contact information, and a newsletter.
