## Description

The Angling Trust is a not-for-profit, member-based organisation representing anglers across fishing disciplines. Recognised by the Government as the National Governing Body for angling in England, it works to represent, grow and protect the sport, fish and aquatic environments. The organisation also partners with Visit Wales and Natural Resources Wales to promote fishing in Wales. Individuals, clubs and fisheries can join or renew membership, supporting work to protect waterways and fish for future generations. Members can access benefits including insurance information and discounts, while clubs and fisheries can receive support with management, funding, development, safeguarding and communications. The Angling Trust offers coaching information, training and beginner events, and helps people find fishing locations, licensed coaches and ways to get started through its Get Fishing campaign. Its wider activities include competitions in coarse, game and sea angling, support for Team England, environmental campaigns such as Anglers Against Pollution and Anglers Against Litter, and initiatives to make fishing accessible to people from all backgrounds.
