## Description

Animal Friends Rescue Project is a reputable brand based in Pacific Grove, CA, dedicated to providing a safety net for approximately 1,200 dogs and over 1,000 cats each year. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, their mission is to find good permanent homes for abandoned, stray, and abused companion animals while addressing the pet overpopulation crisis through spay/neuter programs. Founded in 1998 by compassionate individuals, AFRP has grown into a remarkable organization with over 400 active volunteers, a dedicated staff, and a hardworking board of directors. AFRP offers a range of services to fulfill their mission, including fostering homeless companion animals, offering advice and assistance through their Compassionate Surrender Program and website courtesy listings, facilitating dog and cat adoptions through a thorough screening process, providing behavior resources for adopted animals, and giving a lifetime promise to each animal in their care. They also offer low-cost spay/neuter vouchers, organize free spay/neuter clinics, transport at-risk shelter animals to organizations with available space, and provide Trap-Neuter-Return services for feral/community cats. With a strong commitment to animal welfare, AFRP is a trusted brand that ensures every animal receives the care and love they deserve.
