# Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `animalfriendswv.org` ## Description Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia (AFNCWV) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing refuge, care, and aid for unwanted, abandoned, and abused animals. They strive to create a high-quality shelter where there is no unwarranted euthanasia, firmly believing that pets should not be killed simply because they have no homes. Their mission began with Lucky, an 11-year-old golden retriever/black lab mix who was mistreated and left to die. Lucky made a full recovery, inspiring a small group of friends who had been fostering and caring for rescue animals for years. This group formed AFNCWV with the goal of making a difference for animals in need. Since 1999, AFNCWV has helped save the lives of over 7,000 animals. They offer adoption services, providing a checklist to guide potential pet owners through the process. They also have a thrift shoppe, which supports their work, and offer spay/neuter assistance to help control the population of homeless animals. If you're looking to make a difference in the lives of animals, consider supporting Animal Friends of North Central West Virginia. Your support will help ensure these animals receive the love, care, and shelter they deserve. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Animals _(under Pets and Animals)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/AnimalFriendsWV) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCCBuf0_F/w/768/h/768/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778044938024) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idCCBuf0_F/w/135/h/124/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1778044937834) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Energy Yellow | #f6e25d | accent | | Shingle Fawn | #66512c | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Oswald — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
