## Description

Anime Messe Babelsberg is an annual event for anime, manga and Japanese-culture fans, held at Filmpark Babelsberg near Berlin. For its tenth anniversary, the festival is scheduled for 22–25 July 2027, transforming the entire film park into an “Animeland” experience. The programme brings together live entertainment and activities, including concerts, an anime cinema, gaming, cosplay, competitions, workshops, talks and performances by show groups. Visitors can also explore a Japanese-style matsuri with festival stalls and street food, meet invited guests, and browse exhibitors, traders, artists and fan projects.

The 2027 anniversary edition will open on Thursday with a special birthday concert show featuring artists from the event’s history, followed by further concerts and guest announcements. The J-Disco returns on Friday evening with Japanese and Korean music and a light show. Tickets are available through the event’s ticket shop, with a special-price advance sale announced through 5 October 2026. Anime Messe Babelsberg also shares programme schedules and visitor information, including opening times, location details and cosplay rules.
