## Description

Anna Bianco – Works on Paper is an independent advisory service in The Hague, helping collectors, heirs and institutions understand, acquire and manage works on paper. Its specialist focus is Old Master prints and drawings, alongside historical manuscripts. The practice combines academic research, curatorial experience and knowledge of the antiquarian art market to provide informed, method-driven guidance.

Services include acquisition advice, evaluation of inherited works, collection-building strategies and provenance research. Bianco also supports collection management through cataloguing, condition reporting, conservation planning, museum loan coordination and exhibition logistics. Each engagement begins by clarifying the client’s needs, then examines the work or collection through research, technical analysis and comparison with relevant literature, archival sources, auction records and specialist databases. Clients receive documented assessments and practical recommendations to support decisions.

Anna Bianco holds a PhD from Leiden University and has served as curator of the Ton Koopman Art Collection since 2010. Her experience also includes antiquarian trade and provenance research, including collaboration with the Looted Art Commission in London, and database work at the RKD, the Netherlands Institute for Art History. Services are available in English, Italian and Dutch.
