## Description

Annapolis Striders is a running club based in Annapolis, Maryland, established in 1978 to promote physical fitness and mental well-being through long-distance running. The club brings together local runners through group runs, organized races, training programs, and community activities. Its race calendar includes events such as the B&A Trail Marathon and Half Marathon, the Metric Marathon, the Downs Park 5 Miler, the Rosaryville Veteran’s Day Trail Race, the Anniversary Run 15K, and the Annapolis 10 Mile Run. Training opportunities include programs for the Moore’s Marines Marathon and the Rosaryville Veteran’s Day Trail Race. Members can also take part in the club’s Championship Series and follow standings, rules, and archives. Annapolis Striders shares race information, registration details, results, and club news, while maintaining resources such as membership benefits, annual awards, and running streak archives. The organization encourages participation in the Annapolis running community and offers ways to connect through group activities and social channels. It also accepts donations and provides information about its board and club operations.
