## Description

Annette Wier is a Danish visual artist based in Hornbæk, whose practice explores humanity, movement and the relationship between inner experience and outward action. Working across painting, drawing, collage and objects, she investigates existential questions and seeks to create a visual language that encourages attention to movement and life. Her work draws on ideas from art, philosophy, science and spirituality, reflecting an interest in varied perspectives, ethics, change and openness.

Wier presents her work through exhibitions and creative projects. Recent exhibitions include “Hænderne er mine Vinger,” inspired by handwritten letters and the expressive power of the hand, as well as “Slow Pathways” and “Der hvor lyset falder.” Her works bring together images, words, signs and forms, sometimes incorporating excerpts from personal correspondence. The artist’s website features information about current and past exhibitions, drawings, projects, her curriculum vitae and films. Visitors can also contact Wier directly or subscribe to her newsletter for updates about exhibitions, events and other news.
