## Description

ANPMat, the National Association of Mathematics Teachers in Basic Education, is a Brazilian organization focused on mathematics education and the teachers who work in it. It brings together educators through membership, regional secretariats, working groups, and activities that encourage professional exchange. The association organizes national and regional symposia on mathematics teacher education, sharing event proceedings, e-books, videos, and other materials with its community. Its initiatives include Café com a ANPMat, DigiMat, Desafio ANPMat, and a live-stream series, alongside news, certificates, and the ANPMat bulletin. The website also provides information about membership, member benefits, institutional and honorary associates, governance, elections, and association records. ANPMat collaborates with other organizations on activities that recognize and promote mathematics teaching; recent announcements include a teaching award launched with IMPA and opportunities to present educational products developed through PROFMAT. Through its events, publications, initiatives, and member services, ANPMat connects teachers and supports the sharing of practices and resources for mathematics education in Brazil’s basic education system.
