## Description

Anstey Community Library is a volunteer-run registered charity, operating since 3 October 2015. It serves the local community through library facilities and services, alongside activities designed to bring residents together, encourage reading and support wellbeing. Its programme includes Wednesday afternoon socials, Wriggly Rhymers and Anstey Wellbeing Walks, offering opportunities for people of different ages to connect and participate.

The library also hosts seasonal and community events, such as film shows, family fun mornings, plant sales, reading challenge activities and an annual Christmas grotto and raffle. Children and families can take part in author visits, reading activities and competitions, while other events provide space to meet, chat and enjoy refreshments. The library has also hosted presentations and discussions, including sessions connected with a locally featured book.

Anstey Community Library welcomes community support through donations, including plants and garden items for its sale, and through participation in its events and fundraising. Its work is carried out by volunteers, with activities and services shaped around local interests and community involvement.
