## Description

Anstoss-Online.de, also known as AO – Anstoss Online, is a free online football management game developed as an online continuation of the classic computer game Anstoss 3. Players take charge of a football club and make decisions across the day-to-day and strategic aspects of management, including training, team line-ups, tactics, transfers, the stadium and fan matters. The game offers a broad competition, with more than 2,000 clubs across 52 European countries. Managers continue the work of their predecessors and compete in league matches on Saturdays, while national and international cup competitions take place on Wednesdays. Matches can be followed through detailed text reports. Anstoss-Online.de describes itself as entirely free to play, with no hidden costs, premium accounts or paid extra features; registration is available online. Its active community of more than 1,000 competing managers is presented as an important part of the experience. The site also provides links to a forum, a help wiki and an overview of match processing and results.
