## Description

The Cyprus Cancer Society is a charitable organisation dedicated to ensuring that no one affected by cancer in Cyprus is left without help. For more than 50 years, it has provided free supportive and palliative care to people living with cancer, without discrimination, while also offering support to their families. Its services include medical and nursing care in hospital and at home, psychological and social support, physiotherapy, lymphoedema management and aromatherapy. The Society also operates the Arodafnousa Palliative Care Centre in Nicosia, where it cares for hundreds of patients each year, and provides daily transport from cities to oncology centres in Nicosia and Limassol. Alongside direct care, it shares information about cancer prevention, patient rights and supportive care through public education and resources. The organisation relies on community generosity to sustain its work and invites people to contribute through donations, membership, volunteering and its online shop. Through compassionate care and practical support, the Cyprus Cancer Society serves patients and families throughout the cancer experience.
