## Description

Anubis is a progressive rock band from Sydney, Australia, known for atmospheric compositions, expansive musical journeys and narrative-driven albums. The group builds its sound around big melodies and harmonies, layered keyboards and soaring guitar solos, combining an epic approach with carefully shaped production. Its discography includes 230503, A Tower of Silence, Hitchhiking to Byzantium, Behind Our Eyes, The Second Hand, Different Stories and Homeless.

The band’s seventh studio album, The Unforgivable, was released in 2024 through Bird’s Robe Records. A concept album presented as one continuous, ten-part work, it follows a young man’s involvement with and escape from a religious cult. The album is available on CD, vinyl, download and streaming platforms, with an edited section, “Back,” released as a single. Anubis also offers music and merchandise through its online store and shares news through its website and mailing list.

Alongside recording and releases, Anubis performs live in Australia and internationally. Its listed appearances include concerts and progressive music festivals in Japan, France, the Netherlands and Germany.
