# APATRIS 21 - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `apatris21.org` ## Description APATRIS 21 is a nonprofit social solidarity institution based in the Algarve, Portugal, supporting people with Down syndrome and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Founded in 2000 by parents and education professionals, the association works to promote inclusion, well-being, autonomy and equal opportunities. Its mission brings together health, education and professional integration, while raising public awareness of the abilities and potential of people with cognitive disabilities. APATRIS 21 offers psychological support, training for educators, inclusion activities, awareness events and family consultancy.
