Apctp

The Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) is an international research institute located in Korea. Established in June 1996, it is the nation's first and only international organization in the field of theoretical physics. APCTP aims to lead basic science in the Asia Pacific region and provide an academic platform for the theoretical physics community.

With Professor C. N. Yang as its founding president, APCTP currently has 17 member countries and regions, including Australia, Japan, Singapore, and more.

Its goal is to create a basic research hub and enhance global leadership capability. APCTP offers activities such as seminars, lectures, and colloquia, as well as publications and research opportunities. As a non-governmental organization, APCTP is supported by the Korean Government and strives to maximize social value through its various initiatives.
