# Association pour les personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle du Suroît - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `apdis.ca` ## Description The Association for People with Intellectual Disabilities of the Suroît (APDIS) is a community organization dedicated to promoting social participation and greater autonomy for people living with an intellectual disability and/or autism spectrum disorder. Through its initiatives, APDIS supports inclusion and helps people build confidence and everyday skills for living within their community. A central project is Défi-Logis Suroît, an eight-apartment building created for residents with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, it provides a stable, permanent living environment that balances privacy and social connection with daily support. The project is designed to foster autonomy and a stimulating community life. APDIS also organizes APDIS en musique, a two-evening summer concert event at Parc Delpha-Sauvé in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, featuring performances by well-known Québec artists. Proceeds support the association’s work. Community members can contribute by becoming APDIS members or making a donation. The organization also shares information about its programs, employment opportunities, and applications to become a Défi-Logis Suroît tenant. ## Industries - ⛑ Health - ⛑ Developmental and Physical Disabilities _(under Health)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/DefiLogis) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/apdis-suroit) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idbV-DTI9N/w/820/h/404/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793816220867) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idbV-DTI9N/w/400/h/400/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793816221164) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Monza | #e20714 | accent | | Stiletto | #963e30 | dark | | Mercury | #e7e7e7 | light | ## Fonts - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - Poppins — asset _(google)_ - Poppins — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
