## Description

The African Political Economy Association (APEA) is a network of academics, students, and practitioners focused on accelerating Africa’s development. It examines how politics, economics, history, culture, and customs shape economic interactions across its member countries. Through political economy and other cross-disciplinary approaches, APEA conducts research and training and shares evidence intended to inform change, policy, and government. Its work is designed to help members understand connections between economic and political issues and other areas that warrant attention.
