APEGS, the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, is dedicated to regulating and ensuring the high standards of engineering and geoscience professions in Saskatchewan and throughout Canada. If you are engaged in work that falls under the practice of professional engineering or professional geoscience in Saskatchewan, you must either be registered as a professional engineer or professional geoscientist in the province or work under the direct supervision of someone who is registered. APEGS ensures that all licensed professionals meet important professional standards. Once registered with APEGS, individuals gain access to valuable resources, including subscriptions to The Professional Edge magazine, Continuing Professional Development resources, employment resources, and discounts through Engineers Canada's Affinity Program. After receiving their engineering or geoscience license, members are eligible to use the appropriate designation/title and can sign and seal documents, providing assurance to the public about their competence and commitment to safety and environmental protection.
