## Description

APEPEN, the Portuguese Association of Pediatric and Neonatal Nursing, is a nonprofit professional association dedicated to promoting excellence in nursing care across neonatal and pediatric settings. It works to share knowledge, encourage consistent nursing practices, and support the development of care in neonatal and pediatric units throughout Portugal. The association welcomes members who want to contribute to improving care for premature babies, children, and their families, and to strengthening the profile of Portuguese neonatal and pediatric nursing nationally and internationally.

APEPEN provides opportunities for professional connection and learning through its activities, including the APEPEN Laboratory, a space for members to share and present topics relevant to their interests, and a free webinar series that requires registration. It also organizes national meetings, including the announced 2026 National Meeting and International Meeting, with a program, registration, and calls for abstracts for free communications and posters. The website offers membership applications and renewals, event information, submission guidance, association statutes, and details about its governing bodies and partners.
