## Description

APETP, or Asociación para la Protección del Enfermo de Terapias Pseudocientíficas, is dedicated to safeguarding individuals from the harmful effects of pseudoscientific therapies. The organization raises awareness about the myriad of alternative treatments that can endanger patients by leading them to abandon scientifically-backed medical care or incurring significant financial costs for unproven methods. Through public advocacy, legislative proposals, and informative resources, APETP aims to educate and protect patients from misleading therapies such as psychomagic, hydrotherapy, and various unverified psychological practices. The association also disseminates information about the risks associated with these therapies and encourages public discourse on the importance of evidence-based medicine. By offering resources, including a comprehensive list of therapies deemed pseudoscientific, APETP stands as a crucial ally for individuals seeking safe and effective health care options. Join APETP in the mission to promote health literacy and patient protection against deceptive treatment practices.
