## Description

Apex Jiu Jitsu is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy in Swansea, serving the Lake Macquarie community with classes for adults and children. The academy combines traditional martial arts roots with a welcoming, contemporary approach, emphasizing fitness, self-defence, confidence, discipline, and personal growth. Students of different ages and fitness levels can develop technique, strength, mobility, and body awareness in a supportive community.

Adult classes range from beginner to advanced and are open to men and women. Children’s and juniors’ classes focus on respect, courage, confidence, and an anti-bullying program that helps students build practical skills and resilience. Apex also invites prospective students to try a free class.

Instruction is led by experienced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts, including Professors Elson Pinho, Isabelle, and Marcus Vinícius Voi. The academy is part of the GSA team, led by Master Bruno Panno, and affiliated with the Gracie Humaitá tradition. Apex presents training as a long-term journey of learning and wellbeing, with progress valued beyond competition results.
