# A Falcoaria - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `apfalcoaria.org` ## Description The Associação Portuguesa de Falcoaria (APF) is a Portuguese association founded in 1991 to protect and promote falconry in Portugal and represent the country’s falconry and falconers. Its work combines support for the practice with opportunities for education, discussion and public engagement. The association offers introductory falconry courses, including sessions held in partnership with municipalities, and provides information on what falconry involves, how to get started and animal welfare. It also organizes and participates in events connected with falconry and hunting, such as conferences on game management and activities focused on low-flight hunting. Through its news and resources, the APF keeps members and interested readers informed about courses, events and association matters, including general assemblies. The organization works with institutional and commercial partners and promotes awareness of falconry as part of Portugal’s cultural heritage, including its recognition as UNESCO intangible heritage. The APF serves both practitioners seeking to develop their involvement and members of the public interested in learning about this traditional practice. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Hunting and Shooting _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idfdZGy1Hy/w/280/h/88/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790840436547) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Atlantis | #aec32d | accent | | Tundora | #434343 | dark | | Boston Blue | #4183c4 | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica — asset _(custom)_ - Georgia — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
