## Description

APMEN, the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network, is leading the charge in malaria elimination across 18 Asia Pacific countries. With a mission to achieve a malaria-free Asia Pacific by 2030, APMEN has made significant strides towards this goal. The network, which comprises 22 countries and 54 partner institutions, focuses on capacity strengthening, operational research, and advocacy for malaria control and elimination.

APMEN's core technical expertise includes surveillance & response, vector control, and vivax, all aimed at coordinating and advocating for capacity strengthening at the national and regional levels.

The network has successfully mobilized domestic resources, integrated malaria elimination efforts with other disease programs, and developed strategies to prevent the re-establishment of malaria.

As a collaborative platform, APMEN facilitates engagement with experts and partners in the region, driving the development and uptake of novel strategies critical for eliminating malaria.
