## Description

App Virtualizer is a privacy-focused utility for Amazon Fire TV devices that lets users run apps inside an isolated virtual sandbox. Designed for Fire TV Stick and Cube, it supports TV remote and D-pad navigation and does not require root access or device modifications. Users can add apps from those already installed or load APK files from storage, then launch them within the sandbox.

According to the product’s description, sandboxed apps are hidden from Amazon’s installed-app list and are not included in usage reporting or recommendations. Their data is kept in the virtualizer’s container, separate from standard app directories and other apps. App Virtualizer also states that apps run without Google Play Services reporting, advertising ID, or analytics by default, and that adding apps does not send system-wide package broadcasts. The software can be installed by sideloading its APK with Downloader or a file manager. When App Virtualizer is removed, the company says its sandboxed apps, data, and traces are deleted.
