## Description

Applewood Seed Company is a wholesale seed producer based in Arvada, Colorado, serving commercial, professional, government, and other business customers since 1965. The company supplies bulk wildflower and garden flower seeds, including open-pollinated and heirloom varieties, as well as herb seeds, native grass seeds, and individual species and seed mixes for different regions and applications. Its specialty mixes support pollinator conservation, including options developed for wild bees and honey bees, and monarch butterfly mixes containing milkweed.

Applewood serves seed companies, landscapers, public agencies, golf courses, nurseries, farms, ranches, professional growers, and pollinator habitat projects. Its sales staff advises customers on seed selection, planting schedules, soil preparation, and seeding techniques. To support product quality, the company works with seed growers across the United States and tests seed for identification, germination, purity, and noxious weeds. Research in its test gardens evaluates plant performance, new products, planting methods, and production trials. Customers can browse the online seed store and register to access current pricing.
