## Description

AHADI, or Applied Health Analytics for Delivery and Innovation, is an Africa-focused organization supporting countries as they work toward greater self-reliance in health. Its name also means “promise” or “commitment” in Swahili, reflecting its focus on working alongside countries to build stronger, sustainable solutions. AHADI helps governments and health partners identify priorities, make informed decisions, and address current and future health needs through analysis and evidence.

Its services span health analytics, health systems strengthening, disease programmes, health emergencies, research and innovation, and foresight. AHADI works with data and analytical methods, including artificial intelligence, to inform decisions and solve priority health challenges. It strengthens local talent and institutions, while connecting public health analytics professionals across Africa to collaborate and build lasting capacity. The organization also supports applied and operational research, from setting priorities and designing studies to implementation, as well as multi-country research with regional partners. Through its Thinking Ahead work, AHADI helps countries and partners anticipate opportunities and threats to health.
