## Description

APRE, the Portuguese Association of Essential Reiki, is an organisation dedicated to teaching Reiki and supporting its practitioner community in Portugal. Bringing together a team of Reiki masters, it offers holistic training and services, including Reiki consultations and sessions, with appointments arranged to support timely, personalised attention. The association also provides opportunities to enrol, connect through its school network, and take part in events and congresses.

For more than 16 years, APRE has worked to promote Reiki, well-being, awareness and spiritual development through education, community initiatives and volunteer activity. Its projects include Reiki volunteering at IPO and Hospital de São João, national Reiki congresses, and work to improve the quality of Reiki training. APRE also shares research, historical material and texts about Reiki, including information on Mikao Usui and Reiki as a complementary therapy in healthcare. Based in Nogueira da Maia, the association aims to provide its community with comprehensive, compassionate support and a welcoming place to learn and practise.
