## Description

ApretApedrA is a design brand that creates products for public spaces and private homes, combining architectural design with inspiration from the Douro region’s landscape and heritage. Its collection reuses slate shales once used to mark vineyard rows, giving each item a distinctive character. All products are designed and handmade in Switzerland.

The range includes slate underplates made from Valongo stone, a sculptural floor lamp crafted from Douro slate and fitted with LED lighting, and a cutting board that pairs Valongo slate with oak and stainless steel. The collection also features a milled-slate blackboard, designed as a simple surface for notes and messages. Together, these objects bring natural materials and practical use into everyday settings.

ApretApedrA presents its collection at the Fundação Museu do Douro in Peso da Régua, highlighting the renewal of the region’s territorial heritage. Customers can buy directly from the brand or through selected retailers and showrooms in Switzerland. Its work offers a considered connection between material, place and contemporary design.
