## Description

April Zhu is an independent product architect and designer who builds complex digital products from concept to launch. Trained in architecture, Zhu applies spatial thinking and systems design to make intricate products easier to understand and use. Her work spans product strategy, UX architecture, interface and brand systems, project management, and AI-assisted prototyping, with experience in decentralized finance, financial derivatives, climate intelligence, and data-heavy B2B platforms.

Selected projects include Pendle V2, a decentralized finance trading protocol; Boros, a derivatives platform; and AlphaGeo, a climate intelligence product for investors and infrastructure stakeholders. Zhu has led product and visual design for these projects, translating complex financial and geospatial information into practical user experiences. Her clients and consulting work span finance, insurance, real estate, wine, architecture, and data products.

Through her online Mart, Zhu also offers downloadable illustration and icon collections, diagrams, and design resources, alongside free interactive skills, demos, and tools. These include visual asset libraries, generative design experiments, and practical applications such as an AI renovation-quote auditor.
