## Description

The Amateur Players Tour (APT) is a competitive golf tour for amateur golfers across the United States and Canada. With 48 chapters and growing, it offers professionally organized tournaments for players of different abilities, from weekend golfers to elite amateurs. Its five divisions group competitors by skill level, with additional options for seniors and women.

Members can choose from local one-day events and multi-day majors, play highly rated public and private courses, and travel to championship venues across North America. Events feature organized tee times, pace-of-play oversight, live scoring, leaderboards, and prizes. Season-long points support local and national Player of the Year competitions, while division winners receive trophies and top finishers can earn VISA gift cards.

APT membership provides tournament access, a credit for the APT Pro Shop, partner discounts, and other benefits. An optional Folds of Honor membership includes a donation supporting educational scholarships for families of fallen and disabled service members. The free APT app offers schedules, scoring, statistics, and tour updates.
