Through a REST API or 25 MCP tools, agents can provision a free, randomly named email inbox with one request, receive messages as structured JSON, and access server-extracted one-time passcodes. Inbox creation requires no signup, and free inboxes remain active for 24 hours after their last activity. Agents can also reply from the same address, with safeguards that prevent sender spoofing and rate-limit outbound mail.

For workflows requiring phone verification, apumail offers a paid service to buy dedicated phone numbers on demand.
