## Description

The Accessible Quality Healthcare (AQH) project, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and implemented by Swiss TPH, aims to enhance healthcare services in Kosovo. Operational from January 2024 to December 2027, the project focuses on improving Primary Health Care (PHC) and addressing non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Through three key outcomes, AQH strives to boost the utilization of quality PHC services by all Kosovo citizens, prioritizing socially vulnerable groups. By empowering PHC providers, health managers, and the population to demand and deliver better healthcare, the project aims to elevate the overall health status of the populace. Target groups include healthcare professionals, municipal managers, and community organizations. Collaborative efforts with municipalities and a strong focus on gender equality and social inclusion drive the project forward. AQH is part of the SDC's health domain, showcasing Switzerland's commitment to supporting Kosovo's healthcare reform and resilience.
