## Description

The Aquaculture Information Exchange (AIE) is an online community focused on U.S. aquaculture and related topics. Developed in partnership with the NOAA Sea Grant College Program, NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Office of Aquaculture, USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture, and USDA Agricultural Research Service, the platform brings together people from public and private sectors. Its community includes researchers, Land and Sea Grant extension professionals, industry participants, and others interested in aquaculture.

AIE provides a communications platform for moderated discussions about current issues facing the industry, new research, and developments in aquaculture. It also gives members across the nation a space to connect and exchange information. The website is maintained and hosted by Virginia Sea Grant. Its content is intended for informational purposes; the organization does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of contributions or endorse platform content. AIE does not collect information for commercial marketing, and information users voluntarily submit is used to respond to them or provide requested services.
