## Description

Aquazone Swim Academy is a swimming school in Potchefstroom, founded in 2016 by Zoli de Kock, who brought more than a decade of coaching experience in South Africa and England. The academy helps swimmers of different ages and abilities build water safety, confidence and skill through structured, supportive instruction. Its programmes include Aqua Babies and Toddlers, with an emphasis on bonding, water orientation and essential safety skills; Learn to Swim lessons for children; adult swimming for beginners and those pursuing personal fitness goals; and stroke development and squad swimming. The latter programmes support swimmers preparing for galas, biathlons, triathlons and open-water events. Aquazone describes its teaching approach as patient and age-appropriate, with progress built on proven methods, technical foundations and practice at each swimmer’s pace. Safety is integrated into lessons, and coaches aim to encourage and challenge swimmers while offering individual support. The academy provides lessons year-round and is located at 42 McRoode Street.
