## Description

ARA39 (Association Relai Autisme) is a volunteer-led association founded in 2016 in the Jura region of France. Bringing together parents, professionals and autistic people, it works to improve understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs), while promoting a more inclusive community. Its support is open to people of all ages, whether diagnosed, seeking a diagnosis or simply exploring concerns, as well as to family and professional caregivers.

ARA39 provides individualized guidance tailored to each person’s needs, including help with diagnostic procedures, parenting support and respite. It also delivers requested awareness sessions on autism and NDDs for organizations such as schools, healthcare providers and other community structures. These sessions are led by a trained, inclusive team that includes professionals, autistic people and parents; they are arranged by quotation. The association sponsors EMSITUA39, a peer-led mutual support group offering workshops, activities and discussion spaces. Its wider initiatives include the mobile cARAvane Sensorielle, shared-housing ideas and the Tour du Jura Solidaire.
