It brings together deciduous and coniferous species from the Alps and other mountain regions, with a mission to support biodiversity, protect plant species and encourage a balanced relationship between people and nature. Established as a scientific and educational resource, the arboretum also explores the ecological role of mountain trees, including their contribution to stabilising soils. Visitors can explore the site throughout the year, independently or on guided tours, and take part in seasonal workshops. The organisation also offers educational and cultural activities, exhibitions, talks, bird-focused events and performances. Its scientific committee supports the arboretum’s work, while its publications include The Venerable Larch, an accessible art book featuring Braille, large print and tactile elements for readers with different visual abilities. The arboretum welcomes individuals and groups, and invites supporters to join its association, plant a tree or donate toward conservation and development. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - 🧪 Libraries and Museums _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/ArboretumRoure) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/arboretumderoure) - [youtube](https://youtube.com/channel/UCX6BqeNyLha6wcutAbiro7g) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9d0YMBYP/w/100/h/100/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793236273468) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9d0YMBYP/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793236273631) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Aztec | #0f1f25 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Boston Blue | #428ac5 | light | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
