## Description

Arboretum Ventures is a successful healthcare venture capital firm rooted in the Midwest, with over 20 years of experience. They specialize in investing in under-ventured geographies and sectors within the healthcare industry to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. Their portfolio consists of companies in the medical devices, life science tools and diagnostics, tech-enabled care delivery, and pharma adjacencies sectors. Arboretum Ventures seeks out innovative solutions to big healthcare problems from diverse teams across thought, geography, and demographics. They have a proven formula for identifying early-stage startups that can create value in a capital-efficient manner, accelerate portfolio value, and deliver superior returns. One example of their successful partnership is with NeuMoDx, a company that offers cost-effective and user-friendly molecular clinical PCR systems. Arboretum Ventures helped set the strategic direction for NeuMoDx, leading to regulatory approvals, product launches, and ultimately, its acquisition by QIAGEN. With $1 billion under management across six funds and a commitment to transparency, integrity, and approachability, Arboretum Ventures is dedicated to fueling the future of healthcare.
