## Description

ARCAT Marche ETS-ODV is the Regional Association of Territorial Alcohol Clubs in Italy’s Marche region. It supports people and families affected by alcohol-related problems, illegal drugs, violence, gambling, and other risky lifestyle behaviors, as well as related family and social difficulties. Guided by the Ecological-Social Approach, the association promotes health, personal freedom, and well-being through changes in lifestyle, relationships, and communication.

At its territorial clubs, participants meet in a welcoming, non-judgmental setting to share experiences, listen to one another, discuss challenges, and set goals for the coming week. The approach emphasizes the family as well as the individual, recognizing that family members can grow and make changes together. ARCAT Marche also promotes the Territorial Alcohol Listening Center in San Benedetto del Tronto, in partnership with the municipality, to help people and families seek support concerning alcohol use. Those looking for assistance can contact the association directly, without first going through a doctor or health service, or call Italy’s national toll-free number for referral to a nearby contact.
