## Description

The Arc Erie County New York is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with their families, across Buffalo and Western New York. Its mission is to help people achieve their desired quality of life by creating opportunities through comprehensive services and individualized support.

Programs span education, employment, workforce training, community supports, clinical care, and residential services. Students can access special education classrooms and therapeutic services, while employment programs offer work assessments, career exploration, volunteer opportunities, job coaching, and readiness training. The Arc is developing Black Water Acres, an accessible farm and four-season site planned to offer adaptive workforce training, outdoor recreation, horticulture, and habilitative services. It also provides intake guidance, community engagement opportunities, and branded apparel.
