## Description

Les Archers de la Cité is a Carcassonne archery club welcoming children and adults, beginners and experienced archers. Its program supports both recreational practice and competition, with an emphasis on enjoyment, skill development, safety and social connection. Members can practise indoors at distances from 5 to 30 metres or outdoors from 30 to 70 metres, with target sizes and distances adapted to age and ability.

The club offers introductory instruction and a structured training period of up to two years, helping participants learn technique and safety procedures. Training sessions are available on weekdays and Saturdays, with separate groups for young beginners, children aged seven to eight, and adults. The club provides complete introductory bows and pre-competition equipment, including options for left- and right-handed archers. Members can explore compound, recurve and traditional bows, and experienced archers have access to additional practice times.

Les Archers de la Cité also has a HandiSport section, accessible facilities and specially trained coaches.
