## Description

Fondazione Archimedu ETS is a nonprofit foundation established in Milan in 2022 to advance education and reduce barriers faced by disadvantaged schools and students. Inspired by human rights, the Italian Constitution and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, it works toward an economy that supports access to essential services and more equal educational opportunities.

The foundation’s approach combines three complementary tools. Its Open Framework helps schools analyze and compare educational offerings, including technical and human skills, experiences and values, while respecting different pedagogical approaches. Its endowment fund is designed to generate ongoing returns that can support schools over time. Its digital EDU currency is intended to be generated through students’ study and used for essential personal services.

Archimedu also develops a broader model connecting school resources, comprehensive education and support for students facing financial barriers. The foundation emphasizes measurable impact, transparency and collaboration with schools, institutions and communities. It provides project materials and technical resources, and invites philanthropists, organizations, schools and students to participate.
