## Description

The Architecture Foundation is a UK registered charity founded in 1991, bringing together the global architecture community to advocate for a better built environment. It connects architects, clients, professionals and the public through a programme of events, publications and media that explores architecture’s influence on society, culture and everyday life. Its events include Architecture on Stage talks with established and emerging practices, lectures such as the Rick Mather Lecture, and discussions on subjects including sustainability, disability and the built environment. The Foundation also produces Scaffold, a podcast featuring architects, historians, curators and other contributors, alongside films and recordings of lectures and conversations. Its writing programme commissions essays and commentary, including a weekly column by supporters. Through its shop, the Foundation offers books and other publications, including London Arboretum and Order Prevails in Berlin. Supporters, volunteers and trustees help sustain its work, while its public programme provides opportunities to learn about architectural practice, share ideas and engage with current debates shaping the built environment.
