## Description

Associazione Archivi Storici delle Famiglie in Florence is dedicated to promoting awareness and facilitating access to historical documents held within various family archives. Supported by the Fondazione CR Firenze, the organization connects researchers, students, and history enthusiasts with the owners and archivists of significant collections. The archives include prominent families such as Agostini, Alamanni, Baldovinetti, and De Vecchi, among others, providing a rich source of historical data and correspondence. By maintaining an updated database, the association assists users in seeking relevant documents through advanced search options. Recent initiatives include the publication of personal correspondences from the early 19th century and archival materials related to artistic commissions between Siena and Rome. The Associazione Archivi Storici delle Famiglie not only preserves these vital records but also enhances public engagement with Italy's historical narrative, ensuring that the legacy of its families remains accessible for further study and appreciation.
