## Description

The Arc of Southeast Iowa is a community organization dedicated to fostering respect and inclusion for people of all abilities. For 65 years, it has worked to identify service gaps and support people with disabilities and their families across eight southeast Iowa counties. Its mission is to advance inclusion through advocacy, support, and services, helping people live, learn, work, and play in their homes, workplaces, and communities.

Programs include inclusive childcare at the Bill Reagan Children’s Center for children from six weeks to five years old, after-school care and day camps, summer programming, day habilitation, group respite, home and community services, and supported employment. The Arc also provides family and caregiver support, individual development assistance, and community education. Its services promote choice, equal opportunity, and community participation.

The organization offers ways to get involved through volunteering, membership, advocacy, donations, and event sponsorship. It also hosts events that support and celebrate individuals with disabilities and their families.
