Arda Maps is an innovative, community-driven project dedicated to the exploration of J.R.R. Tolkien's rich universe. Serving as a comprehensive platform, Arda Maps visualizes the three key ages of Middle-earth: the First Age, Second Age, and Third Age. Users can navigate high-detailed, interactive maps featuring 882 characters, 796 places, and 1,624 timeline events, each designed to enhance the reader's understanding and appreciation of Tolkien's works.

Developed by Curtis Mosters with the support of fellow enthusiasts, Arda Maps is a non-profit, open-source initiative. It utilizes advanced technologies like QGIS for map creation and D3.js for data visualizations, ensuring a user-friendly experience. Although not affiliated with Middle-earth Enterprises or Tolkien Estates, the project aims to fill a gap in Tolkien scholarship by providing a visual representation of the legends and lore found in his writings. Visitors are encouraged to engage with the community, provide feedback, and help improve the resource, fostering a deeper connection to Tolkien's world.
