## Description

Ardenne wallonne is a regional heritage and publishing association focused on the history, culture, and traditions of the Ardennes area, particularly communities such as Fumay, Haybes, Givet, and nearby towns. It shares research and stories through a recurring publication, with issues available by subscription and through local points of sale. Readers can explore articles on regional history, the First and Second World Wars, notable local people, historic buildings and sites, genealogy, Walloon language, customs, legends, and local cuisine. The website also features archived and recent newsletters, photographs, videos, event information, and resources for finding articles by commune. Its activities include promoting the cross-border CATAREX slate-quarry circuit, an initiative presented through maps, brochures, and an itinerant exhibition. Ardenne wallonne also announces new publications, including historical works, and provides information about its association, meetings, and administrative life. Through these publications and projects, it helps document and make accessible the heritage of the region to residents, researchers, and visitors.
