## Description

ARDIPA (Association Régionale pour la Diffusion des Patrimoines) is a regional network that helps share local and regional heritage, particularly across Essonne and the southern Île-de-France. It brings together people interested in history, geography, the humanities, social sciences and their local environment, including individuals, associations and businesses that produce research and educational materials. Its purpose is to help these works reach a wider audience and to encourage exchange between heritage enthusiasts and researchers.

ARDIPA supports the discovery and circulation of local publications and other cultural productions through its catalogue, member resources, public events and regional communication tools. The association organises book and document fairs, meetings, exhibitions, lectures, film screenings, guided visits and themed walks and hikes. Its activities explore subjects such as local history, landscapes, geology, botany, art and community heritage. ARDIPA also offers opportunities to take part in local-history research and makes some exhibitions available to borrow. A member of the CTHS, it provides a meeting place for sharing knowledge and presenting work to the public.
