## Description

Tables, a work-tracking tool developed by Google's in-house incubator Area 120, has officially graduated to become a Google Cloud product. Created as a rival to AirTable, Tables offers efficient project tracking through automation. By using bots, Tables simplifies administrative tasks associated with project management, such as sending recurring email reminders, updating tasks, and moving them between team members. The service gained traction quickly after its launch, finding utility in various industries, including project management, IT operations, customer service tracking, CRM, recruiting, and product development. The COVID-19 pandemic further accelerated its adoption as businesses sought digital solutions. Tables integrates with popular platforms like Apps Script, Data Studio, Drive, Office 365, Microsoft Access, Google Sheets, Slack, Salesforce, Box, and Dropbox. Tables was one of the few Area 120 projects featuring a paid business model, but during the beta period, Google offered it for free. As it joins Google Cloud, Tables will integrate with no-code app builder AppSheet and be delivered through Workspace integration to reach a wider user base. With plans to enhance functionality, improve ease of use, and expand connectivity with backend systems, Tables aims to provide a seamless and comprehensive work-tracking experience.
