## Description

The Arènes du Cap d’Agde is an open-air entertainment venue in Cap d’Agde, France, offering lively summer evenings that combine shows, games, traditions and conviviality. Its programme includes Toro Piscine events, where audiences enjoy humorous poolside challenges, as well as the Arènes Gourmandes, featuring food and refreshments. Visitors can also attend Intervilles and Intercampings challenges, in which towns or campsites compete in playful games, alongside colourful spectacles and other events. The venue offers online ticketing and works with local partners who help animate its evenings and provide prizes for participants. These partners represent activities available around Cap d’Agde, including tourist trains, boat and jet-ski rentals, canoeing, quad biking, karting and amusement parks. Established in 1978 in the Pinède de la Clape, the arenas were built to accommodate between 6,000 and 8,000 people, depending on the event. Over the years, they have hosted major French performers, including Johnny Hallyday, Serge Lama, Michel Sardou, Sylvie Vartan and Gilbert Bécaud. Today, the venue remains a destination for festive entertainment throughout the summer.
